Conspiracy Theorists - WHY?!

I’ll be honest for a moment. The world population in general begins to annoy the fuck out of me more and more every day.

Every time another “big” thing happens in the world, people come up with all these bloody conspiracy theories. The most plausible explanation is simply not good enough. Why?!

With all the research freely available to people on the internet about exactly how flawed our brains are and how the need to make outrageous shit up instead of looking at logical explanations, is a known THING. Why do we still have idiots believing in these things? It is a side effect of having this ancient brain that we (most of us) house in our cranium, developed over time from a much more primitive form. It isn’t suited for this modern time AT ALL. It’s crap.

It would also be nice if people came down from the high-horse long enough to realise that although human society as a whole has made some great things happen, it has and always will be the select few that make these leaps for us. Not your everyday person. You aren’t important. You haven’t done anything to advance us as a species. And I’m one of these everyday people too. I know it, I accept it, and I am grateful to the people who have made us look good. You could argue whether or not we deserve it, when most people often end up making things worse for themselves and the rest of us. Yet they feel entitled to do so.

Possibly the most annoying tendency of all, is thinking your inadequate knowledge and understanding of a subject/event is somehow more valid than the opinion of experts in that particular field. Yeah, lets fucking disregard the experts with credible explanations and a solid knowledge base. Everyone that punches holes in your outlandish claims work for the government, right? lol It couldn’t possibly be people who know about the many pitfalls of the brain and how to keep these rotten tendencies to a minimum?

So, if you are thinking, “yeah those silly Alien, 9/11, Illuminati people are so fucking stupid!” Just remember one thing, if you believe in ANY god or higher power, you are one of them.
